A fox and a wolf met each other one winter afternoon. They decided to go to the river for a walk. On their way, the wolf began to boast of his strength and cleverness. the fox gave him patient hearing. But When he had finished his long talk, he said to the wolf, “Don’t talk nonsense. l know what you are’ . the wolf lost his temper and said ‘ Shut up ,you fool , and get ready to die a miserable death’. With these words, he tried to spring upon the fox. But the fox run away across the thin ice of a frozen canal. The wolf lost no time to chase him. The thin sheet of ice broke under his weight and he was drowned.
